Nyní, kdy je farma po stavební stránce úplně dokončena (kravín, hnojiště, jímka, sklady) probíhají investice především do mechanizace. Byl zakoupen nový kombajn John Deere 9540, 2 traktory John Deere s výkonem 140 koní, 8 nových strojů značky Pottinger - secí kombinace, pluh, žací stroj, lis na seno a slámu, teradisky, opalovačka balíků, shrnovač a krmný vůz. K farmě dále náleží 3 traktory značky Zetor, rozmetadlo na hnůj a hnojiva a nesený postřikovač. Z tohoto zázemí se odvíjí činnost farmy - prodej 275 000 litrů mléka, 500 tun pšenice, 100 tun řepky a 120 tun ječmene jarního.

Po smrti otce v roce 2002 se na práci na farmě začaly podílet i manželky obou bratrů, které byly do té doby zaměstnány u jiných podniků. Zdeněk Frejlach má na starosti celkový chod farmy a rostlinnou výrobu, jeho manželka účetní a daňové povinnosti, Václav Frejlach rozhoduje o živočišné výrobě (chovu dojnic). Od roku 2005 pracuje na farmě také zeť Zdeňka Frejlacha, Václav Krčil. Ten se věnuje odchovu telat, výkrmu zástavového skotu a v sezóně provádí služby (práce, na které majitelům již nezbýval čas). Při sezónních pracích pomáhají také dcera Lucie a zeť Radek. Práce na farmě zajišťují pouze rodinní příslušníci.

Farma se bude v budoucnosti dále rozšiřovat. Na podzim roku 2006 mají majitelé smlouvu na další pronajatou plochu, cca 25 ha. Dále je v plánu zvýšení stavu krav a mladého skotu na 100 ks.

Vedle farmy č.17 patří Frejlachovým také dva objekty v sousedství, č.16 a 18, které nyní prochází rekonstrukcí. Od příštího roku budou využívány pro účely agroturistiky. Další rozvíjení farmy bude v budoucnosti závislé na politické situaci a podpoře soukromého sektoru a daňových povinnostech vůči státu.

Zdeněk and Václav Frejlach, Borkovice

The farm Borkovice 17 was created on 1st October 1991 when the owners were given back their plots of land - 25 hectares of agricultural land and 5 hectares of woods. The father and his sons started farming as a group of natural persons.

The area of the farm has been progressively enlarged. Nowadays 230 hectares of agricultural land and 7 hectares of woods belong to the farm - out of these 60 are owned, the rest stays rented.

Animal husbandry started in an old cowshed with 17 cows stalled there. The building of a new cowshed with loose housing was finished in 1997. Presently the farm owns approximately 50 cows and 35 heifers.

Now when the building of the farm is completely finished (cowshed, dung-pit, cesspit, stores), investments into mechanization are realized above all. New combine harvester John Deere 9540, two John Deere tractors with 140 horsepower output and 8 Pottinger brand machines were purchased - e.g. seeding combination, plough, mower, hay and straw press etc. Three Zetor brand tractors, manure and fertilizer spreader and a mounted sprayer are also part of the farm’s equipment. The farm sells yearly 275 000 liters of milk, 500 tones of wheat, 100 tones of rape and 120 tones of spring barley.

The members of the Frejlach family alone are employed at the farm. After the brothers lost their father in 2002, their wives (employed at other companies until then) also began to participate in the work at the farm. Václav Krčil, a son-in-law of Zdeněk Frejlach, has been working at the farm since 2005. Among his responsibilities there are calf breeding and providing services during the harvesting season. Zdeněk Frejlach is responsible for the general management of the farm and for plant production, his wife takes care of accounting and taxes, Václav Frejlach decides about the animal husbandry (breeding of dairy cows). Daughter Lucie and son-in-law Radek also help out in the time of seasonal work.

The farm will be extended in the near future. The farmers have rented additional farmland (approximately 25 hectares) since the autumn of 2006. Increase in the number of cows and young cattle to 100 heads is also planned.

Besides the farm n.17 the Frejlach family also owns two buildings in the neighborhood which are now under reconstruction. These will be used for agro-tourist purposes since next year. According to its owners, further development of the farm will depend on political situation and governmental support of the private sector as well as tax obligations towards the state.
