Rostlinná výroba se zaměřuje na pěstování obilí pro krmné účely a pícniny na orné půdě, součástí hospodářství je i 10 ha lesa.
V provozu farmy panu Šebelkovi nejvíce pomáhá manželka, která vede účetnictví a jelikož vystudovala fytotechniku na vysoké škole, řídí hlavně rostlinnou výrobu. Vypomáhají i synové, starší patnáctiletý, studující střední zemědělskou školu a mladší jedenáctiletý. Tříletá dcera zatím jen přihlíží.
Od roku 2005 poskytuje farma služby v agroturistice, které chce do budoucna rozvíjet. Na zemědělské usedlosti v Rančicích je možno strávit ve vkusně zařízených apartmánech dovolenou a seznámit se s farmou a krásnou přírodou pod Kletí.
Pro volné chvíle rodiny i hostů farmy byla vybudována stáj pro koně s venkovní jízdárnou a výběhem, několik koní je určeno pro rekreační jízdu.
Na zemědělské usedlosti v Rančicích č.3 hospodaří rod Šebelků již od 17.století. Jedinou přestávkou bylo nucené přerušení hospodaření v roce 1952, kdy bylo celé hospodářství v zájmu kolektivizace vyvlastněno. Po revoluci a pádu komunismu se ujal opět rodového majetku syn původního hospodáře Milan Šebelka a se svou rodinou začal hospodařit a budovat značně zdevastované stavení. Dnes je již statek z větší části opraven a slouží k bydlení rodiny farmáře, ubytování pro agroturistiku, chov koní a zázemí pro hospodaření.
Milan Šebelka, Angus Farm Rančice
Angus Farm Rančice, a family farm owned by Milan Šebelka, is located in the south of Bohemia, in a small village Rančice near Kamenný Újezd, approximately 12 km from České Budějovice.
Pasture breeding of meat cattle (Aberdeen Angus) in a purebred form in order to produce and sell quality breeding bulls and heifers represents the main activity of the farm.
The farm manages 80 hectares of agricultural land and its plant production is oriented towards fodder cereals and fodder crops on arable land. 10 hectares of woods also belong to the farm.
With Farm running helps Mr. Šebelka most his wife, who makes accounting and because she studyied Fytotechnics at the university, she takes control of plant production. Sons helps out too, the older, he is 15-year-old, studies secondary agriculture school and the younger, he is 11-year-old. Three-year-old daughter is still watching.
Since 2005 the farm offers services in agro-tourism and therefore it is possible to spend holidays in neatly furnished suites, get to know the farm and enjoy the beautiful nature. The farm is going to develop the services in agro-tourism in after years. A horse stable with an outdoor arena and a corral has been built for the free time of the farmer’s family and also the guests of the farm. Several horses are destined for recreational riding.
The Šebelka family has managed the farmstead Rančice 3 since the 17th century already. Forced interruption of farming in 1952, when the whole farm was expropriated on the behalf of the agricultural collectivization, was therefore the only break. Son of the former farmer, Milan Šebelka, took possession of the family property again after the revolution and fall of the communist regime and he began farming and rebuilding the significantly devastated building together with his family. Nowadays most parts of the farm are repaired and serve as a home to the owner’s family, accommodation for agro-tourism, and a background for farming and horse breeding.
